Abdominoplasty helps to flatten and shape the abdomen and waist by removing excess fat and skin and tightening muscles. The best candidates have pockets of fat or loose skin that haven’ t responded well to diet and exercise. The procedure can also be useful for women with stretched skin and muscles from pregnancy.
The procedure takes approximately two to five hours and can be performed with general anesthesia or local anesthesia with a sedative. Recovery time ranges from two weeks to a few months. With a balanced diet and regular exercise, results are long-lasting. Abdominoplasty will likely leave a permanent scar stretching across the hips, although it should be low enough for even a bikini to conceal it.

Exciting new technology is available. Control your breast size post-op without having to go back to the OR! Dr Jeneby uses saline filling technology--safe is the implants rupture. SOmetimes when a silicone ruptures , you will not know for years. This can cause all sorts of unpleasant side effects including hardening of the breasts, pain and capsule formation (a hard crusty shell made by the body to contain the silicone leak! Your breasts can be forever distorted from a long term silicone leak. Dr Jeneby prefers saline for safety reasons.!
Dr. Jeneby has made national news with adjustable breast implants. Click below to see why adjustable breast implants are for you! Dr. Jeneby is the first to use the adjustable breast implants and Smart Lipo in San Antonio. He has been featured on Fox (KABB), CBS (KENS) and ABC (KSAT) for his work with adjustable breast implants, and injectable fillers for facial wrinkles. His work on Mentor Adjustable Breast Implants has landed him national exposure as well. He is one of only 30 sites in the country picked by Mentor to trial the adjustable Becker 50%gel / 50% saline implant expander for Breast Reconstruction (1 stage placement.) This exciting technology allows the patient to increase or decrease the size of the implant at three to six months post-op. The Port is removed in the office (under local) after six months and is temporary.
The process requires the patient to return at three months where a small needle is inserted through the skin and the implant is filled while you are awake, to the desired size. Prior to six months, the port is removed through the same incision, under local anesthesia in the office. It is estimated that 37% of all returns to the OR are for implant size problems, meaning the patient wishes they had gotten a larger size. Do not be a statistic! He has performed over 750 (since 2003!) of these surgeries with these type of implants in Central Texas. Adjustable Breast Implants put you in control!

Breast augmentation is one of the most frequently performed cosmetic surgery procedures in the U.S. It can give women with small or unevenly-sized breasts a fuller, firmer, more proportioned look through the placement of implants in the breast. Women may elect to undergo breast augmentation for many different medical and aesthetic reasons, including balancing breast size and compensating for reduced breast mass after pregnancy or surgery. The procedure may be combined with others such as a breast lift for more satisfying results.
Implants are silicone shells filled with either saline (salt water) or silicone gel (recently approved by the FDA). They are placed behind each breast, underneath either breast tissue or the chest wall muscle. The procedure lasts one to two hours and is typically performed with general anesthesia. After surgery the patient’s bust line may be increased by one or more cup sizes.
Large breasts can cause pain, improper posture, rashes, breathing problems, skeletal deformities, and low self-esteem. Breast reduction surgery is usually done to provide relief from these symptoms. Performed under general anesthesia, the two to four hour procedure removes fat and glandular tissue and tightens skin to produce smaller, lighter breasts that are in healthier proportion to the rest of the body.
Browlifts can revitalize drooping or lined foreheads, helping you to look less angry, sad or tired. Using either traditional or minimally invasive (endoscopic) methods, the muscles above the eyes are altered in order to smooth lines and raise the eyebrows for a more youthful appearance. The procedure is often combined with other operations such as blepharoplasty and facelifts to improve the look of the eyes and other areas of the face.
Buttocks Implants are a relatively new phenomenon. This procedure has been popular in South America for several years but has been getting more popular in the U.S. Dr. Jeneby has been performing this operation for several years and uses a soft, silicone implant to provide volume for an otherwise depleted buttocks area.
Gluteal Implants Dr. Jeneby’s Word!
Gluteal or buttock implants are used to produce a more desirable shape to the Buttocks. . The shape of the buttocks is determined by the fullness of the gluteus maximus, the fat reserves of the patient, and the appearance of the surrounding hips and saddlebags. Deficiency in muscle mass or in the angle of the curve of the lower spine can contribute to lack of adequate projection of the butt. Additionally, the buttocks are an area that retains some body fat which contributes to the prominence of the buttock cheeks.
Buttocks Enhancement can augment smaller or flatter buttocks into more rounded, shapely buttocks
There are several options:
Buttocks Implant:Solid Silicone Rubber in a solid shell. Sizes are small-medium-large-xtra-large. They are placed in the Subfascial Plane: The connective tissue surrounding the muscle is carefully elevated and the implant is placed under this layer. This avoids most traumas to the muscles & nerves and is Dr Jeneby’s preferred method.
Dr Jeneby combines the implant with liposuction of the posterior hips and saddlebags to give that sculpted look and is almost always included in the surgery. The fat that is removed is feathered around the edges of the implant to reduce the “edge” look and contribute to a more rounded, pleasing behind.
No sitting for 2 weeks: Standing or lying down only. No driving for 2 weeks. There are usually drain tubes in that drain each buttock that comes out at 2 weeks. Liposuction areas on the back +/- front are bruised for 5d-2 weeks. A garment is worn for 6-8 weeks AT ALL TIMES except to wash. Follow-up is weekly until the drains are out then 6weeks, 13 weeks, 6 months and 1 year.. The buttocks will lose 10-20% (approx.) over 2-3 months.
Pros: Pleasing shape, more permanent and volume is reliable. Does not lose much volume (except for swelling) and is one of the only options in very thin people.
Cons: Infection possible, Drains needed, Possibility of shifting and others. Talk with Dr J at the consult.
Buttocks Lift:Used mostly in the Gastric Bypass , Lap Band or massive weight loss. This assumes that there is enough fat but too much skin. The skin is lifted-MUCH LIKE A ‘reverse Tummy Tuck.” Imagine a line across the top of the buttocks dipping slightly inside the gluteal crease to form a seagull shape. This allows the skin to be lifted over fat much like a breast lift. May need to be combined with an implant for projection.

Liposuction areas on the back +/- front are bruised for 5d-2 weeks. A garment is worn for 6-8 weeks AT ALL TIMES except to wash. Follow-up is weekly until the drains are out then 6weeks, 13 weeks, 6 months and 1 year... The buttocks will lose 10-20% (approx.) over 2-3 months.
Pros: No foreign body. Infection risk lower. Little shifting
Cons: May have a long scar. Not as projecting as implant. Cannot choose size. May not work for everyone.
“Brazilian” Butt Lift: Is Liposuction of the body with placement of the fat into the buttocks. It is not really a “lift” at all (not like a normal butt lift with the long incision) I is for those with extra weight that have “enough “ fat to make a difference. The biggest misconception is that “I have enough fat”. This is wrong 80% of the time depending on goals. Fat dies at a rate of 30-70% over the first 3 mnonths and no guarantee of projection or size is EVER given. The fact is FAT DIES. Implants stay the same except for short term swelling. People who are not very large may not have this option.
No sitting for 2 weeks: Standing or lying down only. No driving for 2 weeks. There are usually no drains tubes in that drain each buttocks .
Pros:Patients own fat, No foreign body for infection. No drain tubes. Activity sooner
Cons:Not as reliable volume wise as implants May need repeat treatments. May need to GAIN weight to provide donor fat if large increase is desired.

Ear surgery for children or adults can set prominent ears back closer to the head and reduce the size of large ears. Surgery may also be helpful for "lop ear," "cupped ear" and "shell ear,” large or stretched earlobes, and lobes with creases and wrinkles. The procedure lasts from two to three hours and may be performed in a hospital, office-based facility or an outpatient surgery center under general or local anesthesia.
In time, gravity, sun exposure, and the stresses of daily life take their toll on our faces. Deep creases appear beside the mouth, the jaw line slackens, and folds and fat deposits appear on the neck. Facelifts counteract these problems by removing fat and tightening skin and muscles, giving your face a fresher, youthful look. After surgery, some patients appear 10-15 years younger.
A facelift can be combined with a browlift, eyelid surgery or nose reshaping for more dramatic results, or it can be restricted to the neck (necklift) if the patient’s problems center there. Incisions are made in inconspicuous places such as behind the hairline and in natural folds of the face and ears. The scars fade to near invisibility over time. Results of a facelift do not last forever, yet the effects are beneficial long-term. Years later, your face will continue to look better than if you had never had the procedure.
Dr. Jeneby has helped many male patients with their excessive breast tissue called "gynecomastia" He uses a combination of laser, direct removal and liposuction. See story:
Whether for hygienic or cosmetic reasons, the patient who is tired of temporary, often painful methods of removing unwanted hair may find relief with laser and intense pulsed light hair removal instead. Lasers produce highly focused, intense beams of light that are absorbed by dark pigments in the hair follicles beneath the skin’s surface. They are converted to heat, destroying the follicles and preventing hair growth for up to two years. Multiple treatments are required for complete hair removal -- the follicle must be "active" at the time of treatment, and not all follicles are active at the same time. Treatments are needle-free and do not require anesthesia. Most patients feel nothing more than a slight sting like the snap of a rubber band.
New technology allows us to treat spider veins without surgery or an extended hospital stay and long recovery. Laser ablation takes only 45 minutes in two sessions. The procedure is painless and does not require anesthesia. The laser aims carefully controlled pulses of narrow-wavelength light at the damaged veins. The veins absorb the light and heat up, then collapse and close. They are then gradually re-absorbed by the body. Normal physical activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.
Full and vivacious lips have always been recognized as aesthetically important features. Some of us, however, are born with thin, ill-defined lips, or our lips lose their fullness with age. However, the appearance of our lips is now within our control. Fine lines and wrinkles, thin lips and a drooping corner of the mouth are all areas that can be aided with injectable fillers. The market is ever-changing, with new products appearing rapidly. Care is individualized to provide a safe and effective treatment option.
One of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures, liposuction sculpts the body by removing undesirable fat from areas such as the abdomen, waist, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, chin, cheeks, neck and upper arms that have not responded to diet and exercise. Local anesthesia or general anesthesia may be used and the procedure can last anywhere from one to five hours depending on the amount of fat being removed. Dr Jeneby has perfomed over 1500 liposuction procedures in 8 years adn is currently combining Tickle Lipo with SMart Lipo for dual therapy
The male pectoralis, or chest area can now be sculpted with SMART LIPO or standard PALS (power assisted lipo). After Dr. Jeneby examines you and makes sure there are no hormonal problems or breast masses (rare), he will then give you guidance on the right procedure to sculpt that chest. Dr. Jeneby can perform "etching" of the chest or abdomen, creating a more sculpted, hard look!
